Beautiful and peaceful place to spend a few hours in nature. The gardens are full of vibrant flowers, water features, and shaded walking paths. It’s a relaxing spot, but be prepared for lots of walking. You’ll see everything from buzzing bees and wasps to families with young kids, couples taking photos, and flower-loving retirees soaking it all in. There’s a good mix of open lawns and more secluded, shady spots with streams and ponds. Great for nature lovers, photographers, or just a calm day out. Definitely bring water, wear comfy shoes, and maybe some bug spray — the insects are part of the experience! 🌺🦋🌿

Dallas botanical garden is definitely one of the most beautiful gardens i have seen ever. It has all kinds of plants and trees and shrubs you could think of. So green and serene. Not too crowded. Took a ton of pictures and really enjoyed the whole experience. The souvenir shop was also very pretty. A mist visit when you are in Dallas.

Visited the Dallas Arboretum with my family and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The botanical gardens are well maintained, peaceful, and very kid friendly, making it a great spot for a family outing. Be aware that entry is not free. We spent just over $60 for two adults plus a parking fee. Parking was $15 and each adult ticket was around $25. The garden closes at 5 PM, and for those driving, the gates close at 6 PM. Overall, it is a lovely place to visit and worth experiencing at least once, especially if you enjoy nature and taking in a variety of flowers and plants. Just plan your budget and timing ahead.

Beautiful place to visit if you are not from the area. We visited from Canada and saw a lot of plants/trees growing wild that we could only see on TV otherwise. Lovely experience and very well maintained. Lots of places to stop and sit to observe.

We love going to the arboretum as a relaxing exercise opportunity. We always see a lot of work in progress. Our only recommendation would be to offer more ADA friendly tours. During our last visit we were 4 minutes late for the departure of the cart and although there was no one on the cart or waiting the driver was unable to accommodate us citing “strict” new management. This made enjoying it with an elderly family member very challenging.
