Visited today and had an amazing time! The exhibits were well-designed, the animals looked happy and active, and the staff was super friendly. The store and food was expensive. The Wilds of Africa was a highlight. A fun, relaxing, and educational day—highly recommend!

Awesome experience! We visited during the week. No wait time, which was awesome! We also purchased tickets and parking pass prior to getting there. I highly recommend doing that to save time and have everything ready when you arrive. There were also shaded areas where we parked, which was great for keeping the vehicle cool during the hot day. Plenty of shaded areas in the park! Aim for an early arrival during warmer days. Cooler temps may encourage the animals to move around more!

Had a great day at the Dallas Zoo’s Dollar Day! It was my first time going and I enjoyed it!! It was a sold out day so obviously there were a lot of people and traffic, but that’s to expect when tickets are only $1. Otherwise I would just go on another full-priced day if I didn’t want to wait or have so many crowds. Thanks to every worker who helped out today in this 100 degree heat! I only stayed for two hours (and was exhausted when I got home) but they were there all day. I appreciate how much the zoo goes above and beyond even on a day where the entrance is almost free! Thanks Dallas Zoo!!

I had a really good experience at the zoo. The place is well maintained, clean, and has plenty of space to walk around and enjoy at a relaxed pace. The animals looked well cared for, and there was a good variety to see—from exotic species to some more local ones. The facilities are clearly marked, making it easy to explore without getting lost. I also liked that there were green areas to rest, food stands, and activities for kids. It’s an ideal spot to spend the day with family, a partner, or even alone if you enjoy nature and animals. I definitely recommend visiting. It’s worth it.
