Had a lovely experience at this French restaurant. The food was really good, well prepared and full of flavor. We had called ahead to request a birthday candle, and they made sure to have it ready, which was a nice touch. Great service and a nice place to celebrate something special.

Yummy, this restaurant vibes is unique and rich. Upon entry, you'll be greeted by nice hosts who'll guide you to your table. The foods are delicious, we got the NY strip steak, trout, and onion soup. The waiter is professional and overall a good experience with delicious meals

Pastis has been on my “to try” list since it was announced they were coming to Nashville. Getting a reservation is difficult but so worth it. The interior is an exact replica of a French cafe with the ambience to match. The hosts were so kind and our waiter offered great recommendations. I had the steak frites and onion soup with a could glasses of Brut. The food is on another level. For a bar steak with butter, it’s one of the better steaks I’ve had in the city, and that’s just their entry level option. The onion soup was hot, the cheese was gooey and the Brut was bubbly. The food was delicious and the vibe is immaculate. The price is hefty so I’m still on the fence if it’s worth the price point, but I’m leaning towards yes. The service left a little room for improvement but it was a packed night so I don’t hold it against them. I’ll be back again!

FUN NIGHT OUT! The food, the service and the atmosphere were all top notch. Only negative was the music playing. Odd selection of pop/country that didn't go with the vibe, at all. Why not play French bistro music or something other than Sweet Home Alabama?? (It's personally one of my favorite songs but is just wrong for this place.) Other than that, I recommend this spot, especially for a special occasion. It is very loud but we didn't mind. We had the steak tartare, ravioli and sardines to start. All of them were excellent. If you are one of the few people in the world who like sardines, you must try them. They come in the tin with salted butter and bread. Our cocktails were also very good. The St. Tropez spritz was especially good. The petite pickle is tiny! My husband ordered pastis, and they served it much like how they serve it in Provence. Wine by the glass selection was very limited. They do sell carafes, which is nice. (Note the corkage fee is $45!) Moules and frites were delicious but no bread accompanied them. That was disappointing given the white wine, garlic broth was so darn good. Steak frites and the burger were solid. Branzino with tapenade was also good but not outstanding. Best part was dessert, profitoroles. Yum! Pricey dinner but worth it.

If I could give Pastis a 100 out of 10 for customer service I would - it was truly the best service I’ve ever had before. I booked a reservation online the day before, and received incredible communications ahead of time about parking, asking about whether it was a special occasion and other important info. When we got to the restaurant we were created by an incredibly friendly group of staff that sat us immediately at our table. The server was top notch - had lots of recommendations and answered all of our questions. We were visited by the manager that evening to check in on our meal. I left my glasses at the table and within 5 minutes I had a text message and a voicemail from the staff informing me of my error and provided me solutions on how to get them back into my possession. The day after our dinner I received an email and a text message following up on our meal and asking for constructive feedback. Truly have never had a more comprehensive and thoughtful approach to customer service as it relates to dining. As for the restaurant- it was absolutely adorable in its design and aesthetic; I felt like we were transported to a bistro in France. The food was superb. We had the ricotta ravioli (10/10), the half chicken (10/10) and the shrimp salad (10/10). Even the bread service and French butter was top notch h. My only regret was not going with more people so that we could order more things off of the menu. I can’t wait to go back.
