All around wonderful restaurant, they also have a great happy hour with good priced cocktails and tasty beef tartar and kale salad. The French onion soup was some of the best I have had in NYC, combined with sitting outside on a summer or fall evening it was just all around a perfect feeling. The steak was extremely tender and the sauce was so good, they should consider serving extra sauce to dip your fries in it. The pasta was creamy and filling without being too heavy, the short rib in it was robust with flavor as well. Only thing could have been improved was a little more salt on the fries and fried mushroom, otherwise almost everything was perfect. Service here was extremely accommodating and everyone was very nice.

Recette in Brooklyn is such a great spot. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious from start to finish. Everything felt fresh and well-prepared, and the whole experience was easy and enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend.

It is certainly worth experiencing. The French and modern cuisine is excellent. The service was top-notch and respectful. It is a wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary, a birthday, or simply to relax and enjoy delicious food.

This place is an absolute gem. We came here for brunch and the atmosphere food and service are top-notch. We can really tell that there’s a lot of love that goes into each aspect of our dining experience. We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends and hope that you get a chance to try it as well.

The food was just ok - we liked the braised beef pasta and steak frite was ok, chicken was quite dry (although sauce was good). Would recommend sitting outside because inside the music was so loud we could not hear people at our table.
