The service was exceptional. Our waiter was Chris he gave exceptional recommendations. Everything was truly a 10/10. For appetizers we got the buffalo shrimp, and jumbo crab cake. For entree we got fettuccine alfredo, and seasonal soft shelled crab. For dessert we got the sampler but my personal favorite was the creme brûlée.

Had a great time here. It’s a pretty formal spot, and almost a little dated, but the food was great, and our server was also super. We tried it all, from clam chowder, to steak, crab leg and lobster, and it was all amazing. Food quality was second to none. Only complaint is they do have the tables squeezed in extra tight which made it difficult to get to or from our table, but we survived!

Rachel was an amazing very knowledgeable waitress. This is a very good restaurant! Very fresh and tasty seafood, service was amazing, fast service and a good atmosphere! I got the oysters Rockefeller and good gawd! They were amazing! I had some hot sauce in my bag (swag) lol but the oysters did not need it. Very quality restaurant, if you’re on the fence GO!

The food and service was amazing. We dined in on a Friday evening and it was hopping. We had reservations at 7pm. but decided to go a half hour earlier and we were seated immediately. Our food was delicious. We did have to send back the 1st lobster because it was overcooked. They were very apologetic and immediately sent out a new one and they comped our dessert because of the inconvenience.

I don't know if it gets better than Shaw's Crab House. Service is incredible and the food, no words. I've never seen a crab so large that would feed so many people. All the dishes were spectacular, the dessert as well. I don't think you can go wrong with a meal at Shaws. A well deserved fixture in the Chicago area.
