We had reservations for lunch. Otherwise there’s a long wait time. But it’s worth the wait. Pizzas were very good! I have only tried vegetarian ones. I loved their zucchini flower fritters and other appetizers! The tomatoes in them are exceptionally tasty! Cheese is delicious. It’s a lot of good food that needs good workout later though.

If you're looking for good pizza in CA this is the spot. The wife and I ordered the Margarita pizza. Best I've had in CA. We also had the NY Cheese Pizza slice (next door, 2 doors down from Tony's). I've had NY Pizza in NY and this spot comes close to that. Margarita pizza - 9.3/10 - The taste of the bread is an awesome wood fire taste. NY Cheese Pizza - 8.8/10 - NY style pizza in NY is better, but for a place in CA this is great. We arrived at 12:30 on a Tuesday (30min after opening) and we were seated right away. Noticed after 1pm it gets busy so get there early.

Tony’s Pizza is simply pizza heaven in San Francisco! 🍕 We tried the Detroit-style pizza topped with prosciutto, arugula, and shaved Parmesan, and it was outstanding. The crust was thick, airy, and perfectly caramelized on the edges—crispy outside yet pillowy inside. The freshness of the arugula and the richness of the prosciutto balanced beautifully with the cheese and tomato base. We also had the classic Margherita-style pizza, and it was perfection—bright tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, and a generous sprinkle of fresh basil. Every bite felt authentic and full of flavor. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is lively, warm, and full of energy. The staff is friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. If you’re serious about pizza, Tony’s is a must-visit in SF. The quality, variety, and execution make it a true standout—you’ll walk away planning your next visit before you even finish the first slice! The wait is long, but once you take that first bite, you’ll know it was absolutely worth it!

Delicious pizza! Huge menu…deep dish, thin and crispy, salads, yummy calamari- they said a thirty minute wait and it was only ten minutes. Came on a Sunday afternoon. Parking was tough to find though. A little pricey 💰 Worth the visit for sure!
